Who, How and What is Wagr?
Wagr.ai began as an innovative petcare startup in 2016, initially focusing on a smart tracking device for dogs that uses GPS technology to monitor their location and activity. This technology allowed pet owners to ensure the safety and health of their dogs, even from afar.
But then came COVID-19, and they recognized a broader gap in the petcare industry and evolved into a comprehensive smart petcare platform tailored for modern pet parents.
Wagr.ai wanted to be much more than just a smart collar company; and so it became a comprehensive smart petcare platform designed for modern pet parents. As a hub of pet-related services, Wagr.ai enables pet owners to book veterinary consultations online, ensuring timely medical advice without the need to visit a clinic in person. This feature is especially valuable for addressing immediate health concerns or routine check-ups from the comfort of home.
Additionally, the platform offers a curated shopping experience where users can browse and purchase a wide range of pet products, including food, toys, and accessories. This integrated e-commerce feature makes it convenient for pet owners to find everything they need for their pets in one place.
Wagr.ai also serves as an educational and entertainment hub for pet owners. The platform includes a variety of pet care videos and blogs, providing valuable insights and tips on pet health, training, and grooming. These resources are designed to help pet owners learn more about proper pet care and training techniques, enhancing their ability to provide a healthy and stimulating environment for their pets.
Innovatively, Wagr.ai leverages artificial intelligence to enhance its offerings. We realized what really worked for our users was being able to tap into their own networks when seeking job referrals. So, we chose a 'network-first' approach. Why?
Because our users felt way more comfortable approaching people they had some connection with, whether through work or personal circles. And you know what? Users responded incredibly positively to this approach. It just felt right for them.
